Dear Future Wife
When the time comes for me to say “I Love You”, know that it won’t come from emotions of affection, or from admirable thoughts. The Love I’ll have for you will be reflection, not of worldly love, but of a divine infatuation. I will Love you not of my own powers but by/through the very being that embodies Love. My love for Christ will be evident in my Love for you. With each passing day, we will grow into our unity; Christ, You, and Myself. And although my Love will not be as splendorous and filled with Passion like His most Highest, You should know that there will be no extent to my love for you. So if you do me the honor in allowing me to Love you in such a manor, I can PROMISE you’ll have no regrets in allowing are amity to mature in a holy courtship.
My body is exhausted, my mind is burden, and my soul is weary…At these time i can only turn to God.
Instead of making a “sacrifice” for 40 days, of something which is obviously TRIVIAL, and will not aid in you becoming better acquainted with GOD, why not add to your life everyday…
“Do your best to improve your faith. You can do this by adding goodness, understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, concern for others and love. If you keep growing in this way, it will show that what you know about our Lord Jesus Christ has made your lives useful and meaningful.” — 2 Peter 1:5-8
